	Safegard 198RT Type I Life Vest Safegard commercial PFDs are engineered to provide years of rugged service in a wide variety of commercial applications. All Safegard commercial PFDs are constructed with covers of coated polyester or coated nylon fabric and sewn with 100% polyester thread. All belts, straps and bindings are made of strong, weatherproof polypropylene webbing. Snaps and D-rings are made of black oxide coated stainless steel. Flotation is provided by either long lasting Permafloat foam or prime kapok electronically sealed in airtight vinyl liners. USCG Approved Type I PFD. Designed to turn an unconcious person from face down in the water to a vertical or slightly backward position. Permafloat foam provides in excess of 24 lbs. of flotation and will not lose buoyancy if cut or punctured. 	Safegard 300RT and 305RT Type V Life Vests All workhorse vests are U.S.C.G. approved TYPE V PFDs. They are specifically designed to provide extra flotation (in excess of 17-1/2 lbs.) for safety and still allow complete mobility to workmen on or near the water. Now available in extra large sizes and in styles with pockets. Special built in collar and neck design protects workers carrying equipment on shoulders. Cover is made of coated polyester or coated nylon fabric in bright orange with reinforced edge trim of black polypropylene webbing. Heavy duty quick release buckles allow easy donning and adjustment. No hanging straps to catch. Jacket design provides superior hypothermia protection both in and out of water. All units complete with reflective tape patches on front and back.
