A one-step heavy-duty powder teak cleaner. Cleans wood, makes it look like new, and prepares teak for oil sealer application. Designed for decks, furniture, swim platforms and surfaces.
If you have teak to maintain, follow the BoatLIFE teak restoration system: it's gentle and non-damaging but highly effective.
1: Cleaning
There are two different Teak Brite products that clean without harming natural teak wood: Teak Brite Powder Cleaner and Teak Brite Kreme Cleaner. This product, the powder version of Teak Brite, is considered a heavy-duty cleaner. It's ideal for restoring stained teak decks or other teak surfaces. The process itself is a simple sprinkling of powder on the deck surface and scrubbing with a soft brush until the natural teak color is restored. (You should scrub with the grain, not across it, of course.) Then simply rinse and reveal that beautiful teak shine.
2: Brightening
A middle step in the Teak Brite restoration system: Teak Brite teak brightener. After cleaning, some boat owners like to use Teak Brite to bleach their teak to a lighter shade before applying teak oil.
3: Oiling / Sealing
The final step in the Teak Brite restoration system: applying oil to seal and protect the teak. Teak Brite Oil Sealer exhibits the beauty of teak, prevents graying, and protects wood. It's vital to the life of the timber itself, and is absolutely necessary to keep teak in its best possible condition. If you try to clean teak without reapplying oil, it will quickly oxidize, turn gray and soil much more easily. However, you need to use care when applying teak oil. If you use too much, it will have a varnished appearance and will wear unevenly.
Teak Brite will not damage vinyl, plastic, fiberglass, polysulfide, deck sealant, or other seam compounds.
