Teak Brite teak brightener: a single-part liquid cleaner and brightener for teak. It bleaches teak to a lighter shade, which helps eliminate graying from weather exposure. Ideal for mid-season clean up of dirt, grease, food stains and oil.
If you have teak to maintain, follow the BoatLIFE teak restoration system: it's gentle and non-damaging but highly effective.
1: Cleaning
There are two different Teak Brite products that clean without harming natural teak wood: Teak Brite Powder Cleaner and Teak Brite Kreme Cleaner. The powder must be scrubbed, and the cream should be allowed to sit, before wiping down the wood.
2: Brightening
A middle step in the Teak Brite restoration system. Some boat owners like restore a lighter shade to their teak before applying teak oil. They use this product, Teak Brite teak brightener. Application is simple, apply and rub in, then rinse thoroughly with water and allow drying completely before applying teak oil sealer.
3: Oiling / Sealing
The final step in the Teak Brite restoration system: applying oil to seal and protect the teak. Teak Brite Oil Sealer exhibits the beauty of teak, prevents graying, and protects wood. It's vital to the life of the timber itself, and is absolutely necessary to keep teak in its best possible condition. If you try to clean teak without reapplying oil, it will quickly oxidize, turn gray and soil much more easily. However, you need to use care when applying teak oil. If you use too much, it will have a varnished appearance and will wear unevenly.
Teak Brite will not damage vinyl, plastic, fiberglass, polysulfide, deck sealant, or other seam compounds.
