This kit makes bleeding and purging your SeaStar hydraulic steering system much easier.
Seastar suggests: first, pre-fill your helm, attach the filler kit with a quart of SeaStar fluid (HA5430H), puncture the bottom end of the bottle with the included pushpin, and begin the bleeding process.

This kit is designed to retrofit a new
SeaStar helm into a larger dash cut out (4.5")
or reduce helm protrusion from the dash by
the thickness of the dash.
